Across the world, mental health continues to be one of the most significant student issues, and one that the University of Plymouth views as a key strategic priority.

Following on from the success of last year’s Wellbeing Showcase, we are returning this year to continue with our ambition of supporting staff to support our students.

We are excited to launch the new “Concerned about a student” card and “FIKA” a Student Wellbeing Services and University Equality Team joint initiative where staff are invited to relax, share some cake and make time for their own wellbeing.

We will also be inviting external speakers and services to contribute to the day and showcasing the range of wellbeing services on offer to staff and students.

Join us to listen and join in discussions about supporting our students’ wellbeing. Take away with you the most up-to-date information about wellbeing at the University and meet/learn from external partners the range of mental health and wellbeing services they have to offer.

Please join us from 13:00 for refreshments and to wander around a range of stalls exhibiting information and resources from internal and external services. The main event starts at 14:00 with an opening talk, guest speakers and finishing up with a panel of experts who will be available for your questions.
