The UKinbound annual convention offers a combination of all UKI events in just three days and is one of the travel industries leading events.

Providing a well-balanced mix of B2B opportunities and networking, this high profile event includes the AGM, a line-up of top industry speakers and panel debate, an appointment led business workshop, informal ice-breaker networking activities, and culminates with a black tie gala dinner and the Awards for Excellence ceremony.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2017, UKinbound is currently one of the UK’s leading trade associations and the only organisation which focuses solely on the interests of the UK’s inbound tourism sector – a sector which in 2015 contributed £22 billion (9% of GDP) to the UK economy putting it on a par with the automotive and pharmaceutical industries in the UK (and making the industry the UK’s 7th largest export earner).

This year's UKinbound Convention will be attended by approximately 250 delegates from the industry (for example tour operators, hoteliers, attractions, retailers and restaurateurs) from the UK and the world.

Further details including programme information and exhibitor details are available on the Visit Plymouth website.

Plymouth University is proud to be one of the sponsors of this prestigious event held in Plymouth which has delivered an impressive range of student experience opportunities for those studying events management, tourism and hospitality.
