The Past, Present and Future of Maritime Power

The South West branch of the Nautical Institute are inviting anyone interested in 'maritime power' to attend their public meeting in Plymouth.

Speaker: Phil Grove, Lecturer at the Department of Strategic Studies and International Affairs, Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth.

Phil has been involved in the study of military strategy for more than 20 years and has recently co-authored a Book The Royal Navy: A History Since 1900. The book tells the story, not just of victory and defeat, but also of how the Royal Navy has adjusted to a century of rapid technological and social change.

All welcome. The talk starts at 6.45pm.
