At this meeting Margaret Harding (FMSP) will lead a session looking at what is known so far about the changes to the Mathematics A levels with a focus on the data sets and use of technology in Statistics and how this will impact on schools.

These questions will be considered:

  • What can you do with the data set to promote statistical understanding?
  • What are the implications for teaching, planning, development, resourcing?
  • How can technology be used in the classroom with the big data sets?

This session is free thanks to funding from the FMSP. Light refreshments will be provided.
