From a new take on a theory, to profiling a local project, the University is inviting local people to share their ideas at TEDxPlymouthUniversity on 9 March.
Taking on the theme of ‘evolution of inspiration’, the event is independently organised under licence from international non-profit organisation, TED – which is devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks.
With 18 minutes to deliver their idea to an audience of 100, participants are encouraged to add new, important ideas to the global conversation. The only restrictions are that they cannot talk about an inflammatory political or religious agenda, or sell themselves, an item or business venture.
If you would like to get involved, please visit the above link for further information or contact the organisers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Only 100 tickets are available so secure yours early via the University eStore link above!
