Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry would like to invite you all to attend a talk from Professor Kate Leslie as part of the University's International Women's Day and British Science Week activities. 

Professor Leslie trained in anaesthesia in Melbourne and works as a staff specialist and Head of Anaesthesia Research at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Her clinical interests include neurosurgery, colorectal surgery and sedation for endoscopy. She is an honorary professorial fellow in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Melbourne, adjunct professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash University and research lead investigator for the POISE 2 Trial (Australia & New Zealand) and the Balanced Anaesthesia Study (Australia).

This talk is open to all but will be particularly relevant to those interested in STEM subjects.
