How can you take meaningful action on climate change as a local enterprise or business based here in Devon? Join us for a series of interactive and informative carbon footprinting workshops which will enable you to put theory into action, enabling net-zero to become a reality.

AMBITION INTO ACTION

Calculating your carbon emissions is an essential part of tackling the climate emergency, understanding where you are and how you can improve. The “System Shift Take Action: SME Carbon footprinting” workshop series will transform your ambition into action and help improve your understanding of carbon footprinting, scope 1,2 and 3 and why measuring and reducing these are important, as well as walking you through the process of calculating your carbon emissions.

You will leave these workshops with an actual measurement of your organisation’s carbon emissions, which you can use to identify areas of improvement and proactively take positive action.

Organisations are required to attend all four sessions in this workshop series to ensure that they are as beneficial to your business as possible.

EVENT DETAILS

The first online workshop will take place via the platform Zoom.

The subsequent in-person workshops will take place simultaneously within different locations across Devon - the Sustainability Hub – University of Plymouth (Plymouth) and the Centre of Technology, Innovation Excellence (COTIE) in Barnstaple. We are exploring a third venue accessible to central Devon but this is not yet confirmed.

The workshops will be a facilitated in each location with certain parts of the workshops being streamed online to the other two locations allowing for sharing best practice, collaboration and outreach across Devon and the three locations involved. Therefore, parts of the workshops will be delivered in a hybrid format.

There are limited spaces so please only register if you will be able to attend all the sessions, including the in-person sessions. Spaces are limited to 15 businesses in each location, e.g. 15 places in Plymouth and are based on a first come, first served basis.

Please register your interest on the above link and we will get back to you in due course. Please identify on the registration where you are based and which location is your preference.
