The annual Summer Sports Festival is hosted by the Mount Batten Watersports and Activities Centre (working in partnership with Active Devon) bringing free events to the public with sport, activities and entertainment.

This event offers a wide range of activity including sailing, canoeing, rowing and the biggest new craze to sweep the UK in recent years, stand-up paddle boarding. Power boating is also available, charged at £5 per head. Please book in advance for watersports sessions by contacting Matt Price direct at Active Devon on 07815 744912.

To keep everyone entertained, there will be face painting, a quiz and treasure hunt along with music on the day.

Festival history
The first Summer Sports Festival formed part of the community games programme to bring local communities in a cultural and sporting celebration on the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This event will support the continued interest in the legacy work which continues across the region.
