Students for Global Health are celebrating International Women's Day with a panel discussion on global access to healthcare for women.
Join them for an insightful discussion from women who have all worked internationally in areas where access to healthcare for women is difficult. Hear their stories, lessons and advice from working in these areas. There will be time for a Q&A afterwards.
One of the speakers is Elpitha Bruce, a GP Trainee who has worked in rural South Africa and Malawi, seeing first hand the effects of gender inequality including high birth rates, high unemployment and rates of sexual violence.
The event is free to attend.
