Storytelling Walk: Who Plymouth Really Is
  • Mayflower Steps, The Barbican, Plymouth

Save event

Join poet, author and experienced storyteller walker, Steph Bradley on a walk around some of Plymouth’s most historic areas.

We’ll start at the Mayflower Steps and wend our way through the meandering streets our ancestors might have known, past some buildings they perhaps wouldn’t recognise, dreaming of a future we’d all like to share, with stories old, new and yet to be created.

The pace will be gentle, suitable for all, and as magical as you are prepared to let yourself feel.

  • Date: Sunday 7 May
  • Time: 09:45-11:15
  • Venue: Mayflower Steps, The Barbican, Plymouth
  • Ticket information: £14

Society for Storytelling

The Society for Storytelling was founded in 1993 to support and promote storytelling in England and Wales. They provide a central place to find out about storytelling events, to ask for advice on using storytelling, about workshops and guide aspiring storytellers through the practice.

Their annual Gathering welcomes professional, emerging and aspiring storytellers from across the UK for a weekend of storytelling, workshops, performances and more. The 2017 Gathering is taking place in Plymouth as part of the Plymouth Festival of Words.
