The Careers Service invites students and recent graduates to a week-long programme of events to explore the exciting opportunities available across the South West. If you've enjoyed living and studying in the region, then the chances are you'll want to consider developing your career here.

Data has shown that the South West of England is the most popular region for University of Plymouth graduates to live and work, with many already having close links with the area. Join us as we showcase emerging sectors, employment opportunities and the lifestyle benefits the region has to offer.

South West Local Opportunities Fair

Join us on Wednesday 23 February, 11:00 - 15:00 in the Rolle Marquee, for our inaugural South West Local Opportunities Fair.

With a spotlight on SMEs (small and medium-size enterprises) and micro businesses, this careers fair will showcase a range of work experience, placement and graduate opportunities available to students and graduates across the South West region. 

This will be an in-person event with the chance to network with employers face-to-face.

Employer Insight Panels: Careers in the South West 

Thursday 24 February | 13:00 - 15:00 | Online

From the Isles of Scilly, to the end edge of Gloucestershire, the South West of England is bursting with innovation, advanced technologies and creativity.

This virtual panel event will include a range of local speakers discussing themes such as graduate opportunities available in the region, emerging sectors, jobs of the future, and the benefits of working for an SME (Small and medium-sized enterprise).
