The University's IHC Methodological Innovations group and the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry invite you to attend a seminar presented by Dr Francesca Pallotti, Associate Professor in Economic Sociology at the Networks and Urban Systems Centre, University of Greenwich.

Social Network Analysis (SNA) is an established research approach used to map, measure and analyse connections between individuals, groups and organisations. Initially created to study community and kinship relations, SNA has grown to be applied in a diverse range of disciplines, environments and contexts. In recent years SNA approaches have risen in popularity within the field of healthcare research, partly in recognition of the role of networks in the organisation, delivery and administration of healthcare today.

This seminar will provide an introduction to the various designs, innovations and applications of social network analysis within healthcare research, beneficial for all social science researchers within healthcare.

All welcome to attend with lunch provided following the seminar presentation. Please register your place via the above link.
