The South West Cyber Security Cluster is pleased to announce Secure South West 17 which will be held in person at the University of Plymouth and online.
This year's free event is entitled 'ESG thru a Cyber Lens' and is all about exploring the fascinating world of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) through a cyber lens. Listen to the keynote from Jack Harrigan, Head of Cyber Governance for DSIT introducing the new Cyber Governance Code of Practice every company director is about to become responsible for.
Digital is integral to every business and societal function; we all need to manage it better and cyber security is the key.
This is an opportunity for business leaders and cyber professionals to get updated on what's changing, exchange ideas and help on another through this change. It's not all governance push – society and the environment need businesses' help to digitise safely; we are all part of someone's supply chain.
  • Discover how cyber security plays a crucial role in ensuring a sustainable and responsible future.
  • Immerse yourself in engaging presentations and thought-provoking panel sessions led by government, industry experts and fellow business owners.
Whether you're a cybersecurity enthusiast, an ESG advocate or simply a business leader sitting at the intersection of these fields, this event is for you. Network with like-minded individuals, gain valuable insights and leave inspired to make a positive impact by improving your business's cyber posture.
