The Plymouth Athenaeum’s 2018 Autumn Talks series continues with a talk by Imogen Napper from the University of Plymouth.

Imogen is Research Fellow Defra Microplastic Research in the School of Biological and Marine Sciences at the University. She is a PhD student researching the effects of plastic pollution within the marine environment and is supervised by Professor Richard Thompson OBE, a leading authority on plastic pollution in the marine environment and potential solutions.

The free talk starts at 14:30 and is open to all.

Student Imogen Napper has spent her PhD working with Professor Richard Thompson in the University’s International Marine Litter Research Unit.

Imogen has been awarded a prestigious scholarship to advance her research into microplastics found in the marine environment.
