11 October: Qualitative Research Methods: Reviewing the options for a feasibility RCT in stroke
- Speaker: Angie Logan, Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow/Specialist Physiotherapist in stroke rehabilitation
Angie Logan is a Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow funded by the National Institute for Health Research. She is a physiotherapist specialist in stroke rehabilitation, based in Cornwall. Angie is undertaking a randomised controlled feasibility trial to investigate the effects a functional standing frame programme for people with severe stroke as part of their inpatient rehabilitation. Her presentation aims to review the main qualitative approaches and share her decision making for her chosen approach, as well as elicit discussions with other researchers to deepen her understanding.
