  • Room 605D, Rolle Building, Plymouth University

Save event

The focus of this meeting of the Auto/Biography cluster is a discussion of researcher and respondent identities.

There will be two papers:

  • Rebecca (Bex) Twinley - Developing my research identity (Self) through understanding the Other: doing, being, becoming, and belonging
  • Julie Parsons - “Last time I was interviewed I was in custody…” Mediating potential ‘harms’, negotiating power relations and doing ‘normal’ whilst conducting research with prisoners in the field.

Following these presentations, our invited speaker, Pamela (Pam) Cotterill (retired, formerly Staffordshire University) will respond with reference to her own interest and work in the area of auto/biography, following which there will be plenty of time for discussion.
