Don’t get hooked in by scam emails!

Phishing is the use of fake email messages that claim to be from a trusted company or organisation. Their aim is steal your login details, other confidential information and/or install malware on your device.

Many staff and students have been caught out by recent Phishing attacks on the University.

To help University staff find out more about Phishing attacks and how to protect themselves, Technology and Information Services is running a Pop-up Phishing Advice Desk. Staff will even be able to take a Phishing IQ test to see how good they are at identifying phishy emails!

Contact the Service Desk on 01752 588588 for more information.
