Plymouth's Festival of Nature is a fun filled day of nature surveying, nature activities, games and crafts, and wildlife walks. Organised by Green Minds and taking place at Derriford Community Park (with Poole Farm at its heart), the aim is to showcase our wonderful natural world as well as inspiring people to think more green.
To start the day you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly volunteers. Here you can plan your day at Poole Farm, sign up to some of our many wildlife walks and find out what’s going on. Our partners will have stalls in the barn to showcase the amazing work they've been doing and highlight opportunities for how you can get involved in your local community.
Over the course of the day, lots of different expert-lead wildlife walks will teach you about the amazing natural world in Plymouth. The event ends with an evening wind down, with live music played by local artists as you sit around the fire at our picturesque city farm.
This is a dog free event to prevent wildlife disturbance.
Visit the Eventbrite web page for further details and to register your place.
