The Smart Cities Working Group (SCWG) is an informal group comprising a mix of private and public sector stakeholders with an interest in the Smart agenda and an appetite for taking projects forward.

This event is aimed at University research staff who are interested in the area of Smart Cities. As places are strictly limited, please contact rupert.lorraine@plymouth.ac.uk if you wish to attend.

Our speakers are Mark Saunders and Priya Prakash.

Mark Saunders, UK Projects Director, Ferrovial CoE Cities

The Centre of Excellence for Cities is an international group working with Ferrovial’s operational divisions, including Amey in the UK, to drive forward innovation in urban services. He has held leadership roles within business, local and national government groups related to smart cities, sustainable development, low carbon and renewable energy and currently sits on the regional CBI Council.

Priya Prakash, Design for Social Change

D4SC develops technologies that put the power of real-time, collaborative intelligence gathering in the hands of members of the community, and allows them to start the conversation.
