Join us to discuss "Equals. Enjoying gender equality in all areas of life" by Jenny Baker.

Gender lies at the heart of power relations and justice issues both for developed and developing world. There are many dimensions to discuss as the attitudes of our society, church and ourselves are challenged. Author Jenny Baker has been an advocate and activist for the equality of men and women for many years, and is a host of the Gathering of Women Leaders in London. She has an MSc in Gender Studies and works as Development Manager at Church Urban Fund.

This discussion will be lead by Laura MacAdam, Christian Aid regional co-ordinator. Laura is a speaker and preacher who has run several successful gender equality awareness and global education campaigns across the country.

The meeting is free and open to all. If you do not have time to read the book an outline will be available.
