Exciting training and performance opportunities 

This summer our Plymouth Conservatoire Performer Training Summer School will take place at our award winning and world class theatre the House and offer a six day intensive training for aspiring performers who are interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts and professional level training.

Participants will be able to train in their chosen art form, acting, theatre and dance, it is open to all levels and ages 14 and over. 

The Summer School Monday July 29 – Saturday August 3 will culminate in a performance sharing presented on the House Stage on August 3. The cost for the six days is £150 and we also offering 10 free bursary places following an application process.

The House

The University of Plymouth committed £7 million to building The House, a purpose built theatre on campus – and now the teaching home to Plymouth Conservatoire. 

A state-of-the art building, built to the very highest technical and sustainable specification, this award winning facility is a fully-accessible building with a 200-seater auditorium, a studio theatre and rehearsal spaces.
