This international symposium will explore the experiences of photographers and photography organisations working directly and collaboratively with local communities internationally.
Bringing together a variety of perspectives and dynamic models of engagement, the symposium will consider the particular qualities, history, meaning and impact of photography at grass roots level in communal situations and the opportunities and challenges these relationships can create.
