This challenging workshop with Dr Nigel Jackson, Reader in Persuasion and Communication, will introduce the science behind persuasion and behavioural change.
The two-hour interactive session is designed to help a start-up business, SME or not-for-profit sector understand why and how they should seek to persuade their stakeholders more effectively. The start point will be an assessment of how people make decisions, so that you can influence them. Attendees will be introduced to some powerful frameworks and models that can have practical application.
We will look at some scenarios that you might be faced with and then how you could be effective persuaders in response. You will be able to adapt the material to your particular business problems.
