Welcome to a stimulating and interesting seminar on involvement organised by the PenCLAHRC patient and public involvement (PPI) team.

The seminar will be given by Dr Kristina Staley, Director of TwoCan Associates.

Kristina has been working in the field of involvement in health and social care research for 20 years. She is the Director of TwoCan Associates, a small consultancy specialising in developing policy and practice. She has worked with statutory and voluntary sector organisations to improve the quality of their patient and public involvement, including NICE, the HRA, The MS Society and Parkinsons' UK. 

Kristina writes a blog on PPI in research. Kristina will be discussing the confusion around involvement and how we can improve its quality.

About PenCLAHRC

The NIHR CLAHRC South West Peninsula (also known as PenCLAHRC) is the National Institute of Health Research's (NIHR) Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) for the South West Peninsula, and is a partnership between Plymouth University, the University of Exeter and NHS organisations across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. It was first established in 2008 and is funded from the NIHR until December 2018. PenCLAHRC is part of a national network of 13 NIHR-funded CLAHRCs.
