The Faculty of Health has been working with the Cornish company, AvatarJo, to develop a unique way for students to practise patient video consultations, using specialist actors who play the part of the patient.
This training opportunity is not only free, but is exclusive to University of Plymouth undergraduate students studying medicine (in years 3, 4 and 5) midwifery, nursing, occupational therapy, paramedicine, physiotherapy and podiatry until mid-July.
Please book your place via the above link. It is essential that you register using your University email address to be able to take advantage of the practise video consultations.
If you feel nervous about role play or have any other questions, please email simvideoconsult@plymouth.ac.uk and we can talk you through the process.
