For their second concert of the season, the University of Plymouth Choral Society returns to English vocal music of the early 20th Century. 

The choir will be singing three works by Edward Elgar; My Love Dwelt in a Northern Land, The Snow, and Torrents in Summer; Charles Stanford's The Blue Bird; Ralph Vaughan William's Over Hill, Over Dale, and Charles Wood's Music, When Soft Voices Die

There will also be songs from soloists Nicky Spence and Sarah Jane Brandon to complete the evening, which promises to be full of tranquil beauty.
