In this talk, find out about the wonderful work taking place in the garden at the back of Thorn Park Lodge and learn about the medicinal value of the trees and plants to be found there, as well as the adjoining parks.

About Plymouth Tree Partnership CIC
Trees matter! They make a vital difference to the way streets, parks, schools and public places look and feel. Trees are an essential element of good-quality public places everywhere.
Plymouth needs 200 new urban trees every year just to replace those lost to old age, disease and other causes. Plymouth Tree Partnership makes that possible by working with resident and community groups, public body landowners and Plymouth City Council. The aim is always “right tree, right place.”
Plymouth Tree Partnership don’t just plant trees: they run a network of volunteer Tree Wardens to provide the aftercare needed for trees to establish and grow well. Joining as a member of Plymouth Tree Partnership or volunteering with Plymouth Tree Partnership is a great way to support the environment while learning about trees at the same time.
