Winners of the coveted Media Innovation Awards 2015 will be announced at Plymouth University’s state-of-the-art performance centre, The House, on Thursday 26 November.
Set up by the Media Innovation Network, the awards are now firmly established as a leading ceremony for the creative industries. The event promises to be a packed evening with 12 awards up for grabs in the following categories: Animation, App, Branding, Games, Installation/Exhibition/Live Event, Photography, Print, Video/Film/TV/Video graphics, Web, Creative Craft, Student of the Year and Outstanding Contribution. The judges were blown away by the entries, which showcased the breadth and diversity of media and its uses across the UK today.
Hailing from the mean streets of leafy Greenbank, Bristol, the entertainment will be provided by a modern one-man band, performing sound-system butt shakers and playing bass lines, dance floor beats and assorted blaps all at the same time. Get ready for an exploration of the boundaries of live electronic performance.
Tickets are now on sale for the awards evening and cost just £25 including a welcome drink, entertainment and a chance to mingle with the judges, experts and leaders in digital and traditional media. The event is open to everyone and there is no specific dress code.
