Come along for a morning of fun with Plymouth University and its partners and then see the parade set sail.

Entertainment and activities will start from 9.30am in the newly restored historic Drake's Place Gardens and Reservoir and includes:

  • Good Time Jazz
  • Have a go on a Segway
  • 'Shapeshifter' Youth Theatre adding some wildlife to the park!
  • Face painting
  • Mini bug hunt and plant detective
  • Sport with Plymouth Argyle, Raiders and South West Lakes.

Drake’s Place Gardens and Reservoir is an important part of Plymouth’s heritage, and the University is proud to be working with our many partners to breathe new life into it. Its restoration is creating a striking space in the heart of the city centre, which the whole community will be able to enjoy. Events such as Lord Mayor’s Day will enable people of all ages to connect with local history and the environment in a fun and exciting way.
