Save event

Come along to this special celebration in lights to commemorate the amalgamation of the 'Three Towns' of Plymouth, Devonport and East Stonehouse 100 years ago.

Iconic buildings across each of the three town communities will become illuminated beacons, brought to life with photos, images and memories that celebrate the last century.

'Light Fantastic' is part of a city-wide series of light-themed events taking place across Plymouth throughout November 2014.

The events

Friday 28 November 2014

Come and see our community-inspired projections at Smeaton’s Tower lighthouse on The Hoe, Devonport Guildhall and the Palace Theatre in Stonehouse.

Saturday 29 November 2014

Watch the 'Grand Finale' at Plymouth Guildhall and the Civic Centre in the city centre. See how community-inspired illuminations featuring images, photos, sounds and memories will transform two of the city centre's most iconic buildings into beacons of light. We hope to have other fun activities, lanterns, hot chocolate and music too.

Free events - no need to book. Come and help us celebrate!
