The University of Plymouth LGBT+ Staff Network in collaboration with The Eddystone Trust would like to welcome you to join us in marking World AIDs Day 2023 with a free showing of the documentary San Francisco’s Year Zero: We Were Here (2012).
From Director and Producer David Weissman comes We Were Here, a documentary that looks back at the HIV/AIDs epidemic and the impact it had on San Francisco. This was the first documentary to take a deep and reflective look back at the arrival and impact of AIDs in San Francisco, exploring how the city’s inhabitants were affected by and how they responded to the HIV/AIDs epidemic.
This is a free event open to all staff and students, but registration is necessary
