The Plymouth Graduate School of Management's Alumni Speaker Series focuses on the achievements of former postgraduates of the Faculty of Business who hold key roles in industry.

Speaker: Mark Taylor MBA CMgr FCMI FCILT, Global Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations Executive, Army Aviation Centre.

Join us for coffee, networking and to hear a talk from Mark Taylor.

Mark will voice his thoughts of optimising the supply chains in the UK defence industry. Mark is well placed to comment given his logistics and managerial experience within the defence industry in a variety of roles, most recently in the sphere of army aviation.

The event will begin at 10.30am with tea and coffee. The lecture starts at 11am and there will be a buffet lunch at 12pm.

The talk is free to current Plymouth University students and a limited number of industry guests. Please note that registration is essential due to limited spaces and tickets must be booked online.

Speaker biography

Mark Taylor studied for his MBA with Plymouth University. He is currently a Senior Logistics Executive with a proven track record including a 26 year contract in HM Forces and military operations. Mark is a specialist in logistics planning; stores integrity management and accounting systems; implementing and adapting to change. He is a highly experienced senior manager with a consistent history of successful strategic and operational change management; a proven senior military leader with an acknowledged record of achievement in meeting demanding objectives. Mark is also a published and prize winning author, and is currently studying part time for a PhD alongside his work commitments.
