The topic of sustainability is at the heart of the ICE code of conduct and relevant to every engineer. Get involved with the discussion and put your viewpoint across as we discuss balancing public interest with the well-being of future generations.
How should a construction project's financial and environmental costs be balanced against its benefits to society? Which construction projects are really in the public interest? How are other areas of society affected by construction? And lastly, will our projects contribute to the well-being of future generations?
This free event is being put on by the Plymouth Graduates & Students group.
Over the last year the group was resurrected and has put on several events. It is now looking to increase the number and variety of events for the coming academic year and increase participation. This event hopes to increase the profile of the group and demonstrate how it can contribute to the professional development of graduates and students.
