Welcome to your research degree with the University of Plymouth!

At the induction day there will be opportunities to talk to representatives from support services such as the library and the International Office. You will meet other new research students, learn about regulations and procedures and start to think about your professional skills development.

This session will introduce new research students to research degrees, university processes, opportunities and resources.

0930 – 1100  Professor Roberta Mock, Director of the Doctoral College

1100 – 1130  Tea/coffee break

1200 – 1245  Lunch

1245 – 1345  Developing as a researcher, Sarah Kearns, Researcher Development Manager.

This session will include research training and development; project planning; motivation and support.
