Our partners at Dartmoor Zoo Plymouth (DZP) are strong believers in the beneficial effects that being out in nature can have on mental health and wellbeing, and they are keen to support people on their personal journeys.
Dartmoor Zoo Plymouth would like to invite you to join them to see what support they can offer to individuals, charities, and services.
The event includes talks on the benefits of social and green prescriptions and their research taking place to support this, an exhibition and talk from an individual who uses DZP as part of her programme of creative support, and volunteering opportunities around DZP that can assist with building confidence, teamwork and basic employability skills.
A BBQ, live music later on, and a campfire with s'mores will finish the evening off (weather dependent).
Students from Plymouth University who are on placement at DZP will be involved in presenting a talk with Adam Cook.
View the flyer for full details or contact Dartmoor Zoo on 01752 837645 for further information.
