The Global Health Collaborative and Institute of Health and Community welcome’s Associate Professor (Spatial Practice) Dr Sana Murrani to discuss the project she is leading; Creative Recovery: Mapping Refugees’ Memories of Home as Heritage.

Refugees face daunting personal and collective challenges when they are forced to leave their homes. The project looks at how refugees can make new homes which draw upon the culture of the material, spatial and social environments from which they have been displaced; recovering and reinventing their heritage in a very different context.
