Save event

Join us for lively discussion of books about the lives of people around the world and the issues that affect them.

We will be discussing Deep Sea and Foreign Going: Inside Shipping, the Invisible Industry That Brings You 90% of Everything by Rose George.

It is not essential to have read the book. Share your thoughts and experiences on this vital industry and the people who work in it.

This is a special for Plymouth Ocean City Festival.

Global Book Club Plymouth is an initiative of Devon Development Education. Meetings are free to attend. Everyone is welcome, and summaries will be available for those who haven’t been able to read all (or even any!) of the book. Contact Sue Kay for more information.

This event is part of the Plymouth Ocean City Festival and is supported by Plymouth University.
