Do you own or manage a small but growing business? Have you recently taken on new staff and want to make sure they work to meet your standards? This two-part course will help you to lead, manage and coach your staff effectively.
Taking on more staff can be a great sign of business success but how can you make sure your new employees will show the same quality your business was known for when it was just a small start-up?
How can you ensure that your staff are confident to take responsibility and get on with the job, so leaving you with the time to get on with yours?
This free taster short course will help you address these questions by giving you the key tools and techniques needed to lead, manage and coach your staff. The course will be particularly useful for managers and owners of small but growing businesses, as well as people new to leading and managing a team or department.
The course is being delivered by tutors from the University of Plymouth, with private sector business experience, in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses and funding from the European Social Fund.
Please note that you will need to attend both sessions.
