Listen to a talk by Plymouth University geographer, Clive Charlton, as he explores the evolution of Roborough, its air services and the various proposals for an alternative airport for Plymouth.

Clive will be taking a look at the evolution of Plymouth's airports and air services over the years, including the various attempts to find a new airport site as well as the 'ups and downs' of the city's air links.

Please note: The emphasis will be on the past - into the early 21st century - rather than the ongoing controversy about the future (or not) of Roborough airport (i.e. not this aspect).

Booking is essential for this free talk.

Please contact the City Museum Welcome Desk on 01752 304774 to book and/or for further information.
