Professional Development Open Learning Event. Certificated.*

Overview

We are delighted to host our first Professional Development Learning Event.

Leaders from business and the social sector are invited to explore the leadership of innovation, enterprise and change, related directly to their experience of 21st century business.

The event in brief

We start with leadership at a personal level and what it takes to foster the personal commitment for leadership, not matter what our position, or role. This is linked to an exploration of broader purpose at work and the unique impact each organisation can make, through working with their values.

We will then be exploring the realities, as well as the myths, of the 21st century operating environment and its complexities and how to develop systems leadership in your organisation, with practical results.

Creating an enabling workplace, where innovative and enterprising activity can thrive, includes working with culture. Recognising personal, professional and national cultural diversity can help those innovation dilemmas to be more effectively reconciled.

We end this half day event with a key note address about the role of artificial intelligence and how it affects all our working futures.

  • £75 for delegates.
  • £50 for all Plymouth University alumni.

Today's events

A unique opportunity to work with your live business issues.

Our approach is interactive, with great networking opportunities, as well as being uniquely experiential. We will actively work with delegates’ live business issues, linking business research, theory and models to  the reality of business practice. Our aim is that delegates develop insights and understanding, innovation and action, of direct relevance and value to their particular organisational requirements.

Certification

This learning event is certificated, with a full description of learning outcomes provided. This certification supports continuous professional development requirements for many organisations.

We would also like to keep in contact with those delegates who want to share more widely with others their stories of impact, post event, to further share our learning created within this network.
