This presentation will be delivered by three speakers: Brett Nicolle (Bikespace), Jim Woffenden (Transport Planning Manager, Plymouth City Council) and Ryan Evans (Sustrans).
Deliveries in Plymouth can now be made in a more environmentally friendly way, with the Final Mile being made by Cargo Bike. Brett will describe how this enterprise has become established and the challenges that have been encountered along the way.
Jim will talk about the priority measures that have been implemented across the city to benefit all cyclists and Cargo Bikes alike, while Ryan will describe a pro-cycle travel behaviour scheme being run in a number of schools across the city.
Those attending the event will be able to try the electric assisted Cargo Bikes for themselves after the presentation.
Doors open at 6pm for 6.15pm start.
This free lecture is run by the Centre for Sustainable Transport in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
