The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) celebrates its 200th anniversary throughout 2018.
Civil engineers have been shaping our towns and cities for centuries - developing transport systems and designing iconic structures; protecting the old and creating the new.
Plymouth Museums Galleries Archives are working in partnership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (South West) and the University of Plymouth to mark this important bicentenary.
Come and see a graphic exhibition that celebrates some of the city’s best examples of civil engineering by Rendel, Brunel, Smeaton and more. Learn about the new research that is currently taking place and which will help shape our world in the future.
The exhibition is free to visit and is open from 09:00-18:30, Monday to Saturday.
