The Education through Expeditions (ETE) Leadership Award is a challenging course designed to help develop and enhance self-confidence, project management skills and leadership styles in preparation for future work and study. 

Part of the course involves navigating and wild camping on Dartmoor*, working as part of a team to overcome a series of challenges through a series of workshops and practical activities led by Polar Explorer and Plymouth University's Explorer in Residence, Antony Jinman. 

The course is free to attend thanks to Santander Universities.

How to apply

Plymouth University students are requested to send their CV and a covering letter detailing why they would like to take part in the award to The letter must include their name, course, year of study, and contact details.

Limited places. Applications close on 1 May at 4pm.

* This part of the course involves the Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Plymouth, one of the organisations supported in partnership by Plymouth University.
