The Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) Festival of Social Science is a celebration of the social sciences and offers a fascinating insight into some of the country's leading social science research and how it influences our social, economic and political lives - both now and in the future.

This year, the ESRC Festival of Social Science will be a digital-first event, to be held from 7-15 November 2020.

Our events at the University of Plymouth are part of the UK wide festival - via public debates, conferences, workshops, interactive seminars, film screenings, virtual exhibitions and much more. The 2020 festival is the 18th Festival of Social Science and each year the festival has gone from strength to strength.

Our events on 10 and 11 November have now been confirmed - please click on the event in the gallery below for further details.

The University has participated in the event since 2014.
