The Call for Proposals for this year’s ESRC Festival of Social Science is now open!

The festival will be held from the 4th to 11th November with the theme of Plymouth’s Festival this year being Social Sciences: creating purpose.

Focusing on the importance of social sciences in the work of Plymouth University and ESRC researchers in building international and local communities, this year’s festival looks at creating ‘purpose’ and how it can influence our work, how we build communities and live our everyday lives.

The ESRC Festival of Social Science offers an opportunity for researchers to hold events aimed at non-academic audiences. Event holders will have the chance to develop their event organisational skills and take part in this prestigious annual event. Events are promoted on the ESRC website and will carry the ESRC festival logo.

Please contact researchadvice@plymouth.ac.uk or visit www.plymouth.ac.uk/research/esrcfestival/proposals for further information.
The closing date for proposals is Friday 12th May.
