Facilitated by Oli Webb, this session is aimed at those with a broad oversight of a programme (for example, programme leaders). 

It will consider why coherent assessment practices may be important across an academic programme. Practical tools will be introduced, which help map assessments across constituent modules, in terms of number; type (for example, essay, exam); function (summative/formative); and timing.

Possible approaches to the (re-)design of assessments will be discussed.
