Calling all University of Plymouth staff and students! Do you have a bike in need of some TLC?

Plymotion and Bikespace are coming to Drake’s Place Reservoir on Thursday 23 September for Freshers Week to offer Dr Bike sessions, free of charge! Dr Bike checks everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more. By the end, your bike will feel loved and cared for.

Checks take up to 20 minutes to complete with any minor adjustments required made to the bike there and then. Anything that can’t be fixed on site, Dr Bike can advise exactly what needs doing and give a rough guide to what it should cost at a bike shop.

Booking is essential – half hour time slots are allocated by emailing sustainability@plymouth.ac.uk using the subject line ‘Dr Bike’, and are offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Plymotion will be on hand to talk travel in Plymouth from cycling, walking and taking the bus. Drop in to see how you can travel more sustainably in the city!
