Plymouth Institute of Education are delighted to welcome three leading European experts in outdoor learning to the University to hear about the Natural Connections Project.

  • Alessandro Bortolotti is Professor of Science and Quality of Life at the University of Bologna. 
  • Ingunn Fjørtoft is Professor at Telemark University College, Faculty of Art, Folk Culture and Teacher Education in Notodden in Norway.
  • Anja Gabrielsen is a doctoral student and Ingunn's colleague, and Fellow in the Department of Teacher Education at Telemark University College, Norway. 

All three guests will be presenting their own work - come and find out more about outdoor learning in Norway and Italy.

This free seminar is aimed at Education and Environmental Science staff, and student teachers. It is also open to all those with an interest in education, sustainable development and the role the outdoors can play in mental wellbeing.

No booking is necessary to attend and you are welcome to bring your lunch along.
