Patients with chronic non-communicable diseases face a many issues in resource poor settings.

Patients with cough and breathlessness in many countries face stigmatisation, social isolation, depression, reduced physical fitness, poverty, malnutrition and unnecessary deterioration with early death. We have shown that rehab can be life transforming - at low cost and no drugs. We now plan to build a permanent centre for pulmonary rehab in Kampala.

Dr Rupert Jones and his colleagues will discuss the rehab and how they have approached crowdfunding in this seminar.
