As part of the AFFINITY IDEAS SESSIONS: Back by popular demand AFFINITY WITH PLYMOUTH UNIVERSITY is proud to welcome back Sarah Corbett from the Craftivist Collective.

This event incorporates a talk and participatory workshops that are open to all.  Spaces are limited - please email affinity@plymouth.ac.uk to reserve a place.

Talk

Stitch by contemplative stitch, Craftivist Collective continues to thread activism through all it does, exposing the world’s injustices and always striving to make people question how they can be part of the solution.

Workshop

Join us to explore and weave your own story under Sarah's guidance and a good cup of tea. A hands-on craft session for any level of craft skill and experience.

All events are held on the 2nd Floor of the Roland Levinsky Building, unless otherwise stated.

Wednesday 25 November

  • 10.30am - 11am: Tea, coffee and biscuits
  • 11am - 12pm: Craftivism talk with introduction by Justin Bovington with Question & Answer session - venue: Room 212, 2nd Floor, Roland Levinsky Building
  • 12.30pm - 1.30pm: Workshop
  • 2.30pm - 5pm: Wellmaking Clinic - drop-in session (20 minute slots)
  • 7.30pm - 10pm: Networking event with drinks and nibbles – venue: Bread and Roses Bar

Thursday 26 November
